Countertenor Peter Lee won the Best Taiwanese Singer award at the 20th Golden Melody Awards held in Taipei, Taiwan. Lee's CD Stabat Mater, recorded in 2008 with Peabody voice faculty member Ah Young Hong and the Baltimore Baroque Band, which features Peabody faculty and students, was nominated for Best Religion Record.
